What is World Study Expo?

World Study Expo is an international university fair and study abroad expo organised by Golden Tree Events LLC, Dubai. Students and parents register free, build a profile, shortlist universities and book one-to-one meetings with admissions representatives, either in person at the UAE exhibitions in September 2027 or by video during the online editions in October. Universities exhibit to meet students who have stated their subject, study level and intended intake.

Who should attend?

Grade 11 and 12 students, undergraduate applicants, postgraduate and MBA candidates, and the parents who usually attend with them. School counsellors can bring a group. Universities and colleges attend as exhibitors to recruit.

What can students do at the fair?

Compare destinations, courses and total costs in one place; ask admissions staff directly about entry requirements, English tests, intakes, deadlines and scholarships; and leave with named contacts. Our guides to studying in the UK, USA, Canada and Australia help with the comparison before you arrive.

What happens at a university fair?

At a university fair, admissions representatives from many institutions are available in one place so that students can ask about courses, entry requirements, costs and scholarships and compare answers side by side. At World Study Expo the conversations are pre-booked: students shortlist universities in advance and meet the ones they chose, at a stand or on a video call.

What do universities gain?

Appointments with students who asked to meet them, a profile of each student's level, subject and intake, and a report of enquiries, downloads and wishlists afterwards. Read how universities take part.

Where and when?

Abu Dhabi on 22 September, Sharjah on 23 September and Dubai on 25–26 September 2027 (venues to be announced), then online: Middle East 7–10 October, South India 14–17 October, North, West and East India 21–24 October, and South and Southeast Asia 28–31 October. See the full schedule.

For students and parents

Why students attend

  • Speak directly to university admissions staff, not intermediaries
  • Compare courses, entry requirements and total cost side by side
  • Ask about scholarships by name and get specific answers
  • Book one-to-one meetings instead of queuing at a stand
  • Cover several destinations in a single day or weekend
  • Attend free, in person in the UAE or online from anywhere
For universities and colleges

Why universities exhibit

  • Meet students who registered with a stated subject, level and intake
  • Pre-scheduled appointments rather than unqualified footfall
  • Target specific markets, or combine several into one campaign
  • Reach cities that no recruitment trip realistically covers
  • Deliver presentations and answer questions at scale
  • Take away enquiries, brochure downloads and booked meetings

How do online university appointments work?

Students register free and build a profile covering subject, study level, intended intake and preferred destinations. They then shortlist universities and book one-to-one video meetings with admissions representatives, subject to each institution's availability. Universities see the profile information a student has chosen to share before the meeting begins.

The model exists to solve a problem both sides have. Students waste time queuing to ask questions that could have been answered in a scheduled conversation. Universities spend days talking to visitors who are not in-market. Matching the two in advance fixes both.

We do not promise that every appointment converts into an application, and no institution should plan on that basis. What we do is make sure the conversation is with someone who chose to have it.

  1. Student registers free

Name, location, school, study level and intended intake.

  2. Profile is completed

Preferred subjects, destinations, budget range and English test status, as far as the student chooses to share.

  3. Student shortlists universities

Browsing profiles, programmes, tuition information and scholarships.

  4. Appointment is booked

The student picks a slot from the institution's published availability.

  5. Meeting takes place

By video during the event window, with a parent present if the student wants.

  6. Follow-up

The university receives the enquiry and the student receives next steps.
