Recruit Students Across UAE, India, Middle East & Asia

World Study Expo helps universities and higher-education institutions meet prospective students through physical exhibitions in the UAE and structured online recruitment events covering the Middle East, India and Asia. Meet students, not visitors: pre-scheduled, pre-profiled, and matched to what your institution actually offers.

How can universities recruit students in the UAE, Middle East and Asia?

Through World Study Expo, institutions can recruit face to face at three UAE exhibitions in September 2027 and online from 7 to 31 October 2027 across four regional weeks covering the Middle East, India, South Asia and Southeast Asia. Students register with a stated study level, subject and intended intake, and book one-to-one appointments with the institutions they choose.

The problem with most recruitment fairs is that footfall is not the same thing as interest. A busy hall produces a stack of scanned badges, a proportion of whom were passing, accompanying a sibling, or two years away from applying.

The appointment model is our answer to that. Students tell us what they want to study, at what level, starting when. They then choose which institutions to meet and book a slot. You still get walk-up traffic at the physical events, but the core of the day is conversations somebody asked for.

Recruitment benefits in detail

Meet prospective students

Students register with a stated study level, subject interest and intended intake, so the people you meet are planning something specific.

Meet parents too

In the Gulf and India the parent is frequently decisive on budget and destination. The formats are designed so both attend.

Target specific regions

Select individual countries, a regional week, the UAE exhibitions, or any combination. You are not buying a package you do not need.

Pre-scheduled appointments

Students book one-to-one slots from your published availability, so your team spends the day in conversations rather than waiting.

Student profile access

Where a student has chosen to share it, you see their profile before the meeting: level, subject, intake, destination preferences and more.

Course-level targeting

Your profile lists programmes rather than an institutional overview, so students find the specific course they want to discuss.

University branding

A full profile with programmes, tuition information, scholarships, entry requirements, brochures and video.

University presentations

Scheduled talks at the physical exhibitions and live group sessions online, with open question time.

Lead generation

Enquiries sent by students who chose to contact you, rather than a scanned list of everyone who walked past.

Brochure downloads

Students download your material from your profile, and the download is recorded as an engagement signal.

Student wishlists

See which students shortlisted you, an early indicator of genuine interest.

Follow-up opportunities

Students met at the UAE exhibitions can be followed up during the online weeks without further travel.

The appointment model

Pre-scheduled. Pre-profiled. Matched to your university.

Students build a profile before any event opens. Depending on what they choose to share, it can include country, city, school, curriculum, current grade, graduation year, intended intake, study level, preferred programme, preferred destination, academic information, English test status, scholarship interest, budget range and whether a parent will attend.

They then browse university profiles, shortlist institutions and book from your published availability. You see the profile information they have shared before the meeting starts, which means the conversation begins somewhere useful instead of at "what are you interested in?".

One caution we would rather state plainly: appointment opportunities depend on your market selection, your programmes and how early you confirm, and no platform can promise that appointments become applications. We will give you a realistic picture rather than a flattering one.

Questions

For universities: your questions

How do universities take part in World Study Expo?

Institutions can exhibit at the UAE physical exhibitions in September 2027, join one or more of the four online regional weeks, or combine both. Request exhibitor information and we will send formats, markets and pricing.

What does it cost?

Pricing depends on the format and the number of markets you select. We do not publish a rate card because the combinations vary too widely to be useful. Request exhibitor information and we will send pricing for the options you are considering.

Can we exhibit online only?

Yes. Many institutions start with the online programme, which requires no travel, and add the physical exhibitions in a later cycle once they have evidence of demand.

Can we choose individual countries?

Yes. You can select individual countries, a full regional week, or the whole online programme.

What student information do we receive?

You see profile information for students who choose to share it with you, by booking an appointment, sending an enquiry, downloading a brochure or adding you to a wishlist. Registration alone does not expose a student's details to every exhibitor.

Do you guarantee a number of appointments or leads?

No, and we would be cautious about anyone who does. Appointment volume depends on your market selection, the appeal of your programmes and how early you confirm. We will give you realistic expectations based on your selection.

How many staff should we send to the UAE exhibitions?

It depends on your stand and how many appointments you accept. As a rule, an admissions representative who can make judgements on the spot is worth more than two people handing out brochures.

Do we need to be accredited?

Yes. We verify that exhibiting institutions are recognised degree-awarding bodies or accredited providers in their home country before confirming participation.

When should we confirm?

Earlier is materially better. Students shortlist and book appointments before each edition opens, so institutions confirmed early appear in more wishlists.

Can we run a presentation as well as a stand?

Yes. Presentation and session slots are available at both the physical exhibitions and the online editions, subject to scheduling.
