What is the Bangladesh Online Study Expo?
The Bangladesh Online Study Expo is a free virtual university fair held from 28 to 31 October 2027 as part of the World Study Expo online programme. Students across Bangladesh can join live sessions and book one-to-one video meetings with international admissions representatives, without travelling to Dhaka.
Bangladesh sends more students abroad every year, and the growth is coming from outside the capital as much as inside it. Chittagong, Sylhet, Rajshahi and Khulna all produce applicants with strong HSC or A-Level results and very limited direct contact with international universities, because recruitment trips rarely leave Dhaka.
The conversation here is practical from the first minute. Families want to know the total cost, which scholarships are genuinely attainable, what English score is required and whether the visa route is realistic. Ask about the scholarship by name
Every institution will say funding is available. Ask which specific award you would qualify for, how much it covers and whether it renews. That answer, not the general one, is what your family can plan around.
Raise your English score early
If your IELTS or equivalent is close to the requirement, say so at the start. Pathway and pre-sessional routes exist at most institutions and change what is possible for you.
Ask about the visa record, not just the offer

When does it run?
Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 October 2027. Thursday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Bangladesh Standard Time.
I live in Chittagong or Sylhet. Can I take part?
Yes. The edition is online precisely so that students outside Dhaka have the same access to admissions officers as students in the capital.
My IELTS score is slightly below the requirement. Should I still attend?
Yes. Ask each institution about pre-sessional English and pathway routes. Many have one and will only mention it if asked.
Will universities discuss scholarships honestly?
