What is the Philippines Online Study Expo?
The Philippines Online Study Expo is a free virtual university fair held from 28 to 31 October 2027 as part of the World Study Expo online programme. Students across the Philippines can join live sessions and book one-to-one video meetings with international admissions representatives.
English is a medium of instruction throughout Philippine education, which removes the single largest barrier that slows recruitment elsewhere in Southeast Asia. Students can typically enter English-taught degrees directly, and conversations move straight to course content, cost and outcomes.
The country also has a long and well-established tradition of training for internationally mobile professions, particularly in healthcare. Ask about registration, not just admission
If you are in nursing, allied health or medicine, getting in is the easy half. Ask what professional registration requires in that country, whether a bridging programme is needed and how long it takes.
Check whether you need an English test at all
Because English is a medium of instruction here, many institutions will exempt you. Confirm it rather than assuming either way.

Yes. Registration and attendance are free for students and parents.
When does it run?
Thursday 28 to Sunday 31 October 2027. Thursday and Friday from 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM, and Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM, Philippine Standard Time.
Will I need to take an English test?
Often not, since English is a medium of instruction in Philippine education, but requirements vary by country and institution. Ask each university whether your qualifications exempt you.
I am a nursing student. What should I ask?
